CROWN HILL CEMETERY SEPTEMBER 2020 FIELD TRIP
Four members were able to attend our trip to Crown Hill Cemetery and enjoyed the afternoon visiting several prominent locations through out the cemetery, including the Gothic Chapel, National Cemetery, President Benjamin Harrison grave, and The Crown, where we took in the fabulous view of the city. We were also lucky enough to see the deer that roam through the area as well.
JASPER-PULASKI FISH & WILDLIFE AREA NOVEMBER 2019 FIELD TRIP
Seven club members drove at the crack of dawn to Jasper-Pulaski to photograph the area's most celebrated twice-year visitors, sandhill cranes. It was cold and misty and most sandhill cranes had already taken off to forage in the farmers' fields, but these HCPC members still managed to get some good shots. Afterwards, they drove to the Kankakee Bison Area to photograph those imposing creatures. After all that hard work, the members drove to Fenwick Farms Brewing Company in Rensselaer for a great lunch and a brew.
CATARACT FALLS OCTOBER 2019 FIELD TRIP
On a beautiful October afternoon, four members took the trip out to photograph Cataract Falls. They came back with some outstanding photos of the falls.
HCPC MEMBERS VOLUNTEER AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY OF HENDRICKS COUNTY
Several members of HCPC continue to volunteer many hours by photographing every new animal brought to the Humane Society. This is a labor of love because this is a time consuming task, nevertheless a worthwhile one.
AUGUST 2019 PICNIC A SUCCESS!
On a beautiful late afternoon in August, club members met at Avon Town Hall Park for fun, company and the obligatory hamburgers, hot dogs and sweets. The picnic has now become an annual tradition.
2019 HCPC 2nd Annual Exhibit - Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library
Reception and official opening of Hendricks County Photography Club's second annual exhibit at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library took place on May 5, 2019. Kudos to Laura Appleby, Art Gallery Coordinator, for the beautiful display of our photos and for the refreshments and treats provided by the library and thoughtfully presented by Laura. We are so very lucky to have such a great resource in our community!
2019 TheraTails Riding Center's Boots & Bling event
Thank you HCPC members, Debbie Ferrell-Deckard , Jessica Jacobs,Jacque Reynolds Koch, and Larry Hanger. It was a fun and exhilarating time last night photographing at the TheraTails Riding Center's fundraising event, Boots & Bling. We started at around 6:30 p.m. and stopped perhaps near 8:15 when we joined everyone else for dinner, presentations and videos .
We shared one backdrop which the event planner provided, but definitely could have used another. Although other than an area near the beginning of buffet line, there was no other space. Even then, we would have probably been in the way. Nevertheless, we all got plenty of shooting in!

2019 17th Annual Hendricks County Humane Society Dogtona
Dogtona was held on January 19, 2019 , and the club set up a photo booth to raise funds for the Hendricks County Humane Society. Below are just some of the photos that were take by club volunteers Deb Stukenborg and Anastasia Curtis that raised $150 on the day.
2018 HCPC 1st Annual Exhibit - Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library
The reception and official opening of Hendricks County Photography Club's first annual exhibit at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library took place on June 10, 2018. A huge thank you to Laura Appleby, Art Gallery Coordinator, for the beautiful display of our photos and for the refreshments provided by the library. We were so very pleased with the exhibit and look forward to making 2019 even better.
